2013 Membership Survey Results
In April 2013, the APA Ohio Board conducted a survey of the entire membership. We received 244 responses from a total membership of 928, a 26% response rate. The results show that we are doing some things well and need to improve on others. The Board will consistently refer to these results, and keep your comments/suggestions in mind as it develops the work plan and chapter initiatives over the next year or so.

Welcome to the Ohio Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA Ohio) website. Our chapter of 1,000+ members is the oldest association of citizen and professional planners in the country. Our history goes back to 1919 with the establishment of the Ohio Planning Conference, a group of interested planning officials who understood the value of planning in our communities. Since that time, the association and its members have changed and evolved but our mission has remained the same; to promote good planning for the betterment of all Ohioans.
Our website contains information related to planning in Ohio, including educational opportunities, planning resources, and information on our network of citizen and professional planners, for both APA members and nonmembers alike. We invite you to browse around to learn more about APA Ohio and our many activities.
If you have any questions or comments about the chapter, the website, or planning in general, never hesitate to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or our APA Ohio Executive Director at email@example.com.
